To foster a professional, friendly, and technology-focused community for engineers, all users are expected to follow the rules below when creating posts or replying.

1. Maintain Clarity and Precision in Communication

Use accurate wording and clear logic.

  • For technical topics, avoid vague descriptions. For example, instead of “the circuit has an issue”, write* “after powering on, the 5V rail drops to 3.3V, likely due to the regulator overheating”*.
  • Provide as much context as possible (e.g., chip model, tool version, waveform screenshots) to help others diagnose the issue.

Use consistent terminology and standard abbreviations.

  • For instance, MCU, PCB, FPGA, GND, VCC are acceptable. Avoid creating your own abbreviations.
  • If you must use uncommon terminology, include an explanation to prevent misunderstanding.

Maintain a neutral and objective tone.

  • Technical discussions should be based on facts and test results, not speculation or emotion.
  • Different opinions are welcome, but keep the conversation respectful and constructive.

2. Stay Relevant to the Category

When posting, select the most appropriate category and ensure your content matches the topic.

  • Off-topic content will be moved or removed.
  • If unsure, post in General Discussion or contact a moderator first.
  • Refer to the JLCHUB Community Module Guide for clarification.
